David Samuel

David Samuel is an audio production engineer and coach, trainer, and speaker who, with over 42 years of experience in audio engineering, helps entrepreneurs and organizations untangle the technological knots of events, podcasts, audiobook recording, and installing or upgrading existing AVL systems so they can deliver clear messages professionally and with confidence. Dave believes it is possible to untangle the knot of media presentation. His passion is to take those involved in media presentation, whether professional or volunteer, and help them continue their journey toward excellence.

Dave earned his diploma in Communications from Moody Bible Institute in 1982, a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Cedarville University in 1988, and a Masters in Executive Leadership from Liberty University in 2020. Dave also has earned certifications in studio recording and studio maintenance from The Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, OH.

Dave served as Audio Engineer and adjunct professor at Cedarville University from 1982 to 1991.

He served Focus on the Family as the Daily Broadcast Manager, Special Projects Manager, and Director of Audio Visual from 1991 – 2011.

From 2012 – 2019, Dave served as the Assistant Audio Engineer and Technical Director of New Life Church, a 10,000 member church in Colorado Springs, CO.

Throughout his professional career, Dave has taught audio and event production seminars at colleges, universities, and churches throughout the United States.

 Since 2019, he has developed Anpassa Custom, Inc. an audio production and event production company, RecordYourAudiobook.com, a professional audiobook recording and coaching company, and Samuel Pen Co., a hand turned exotic wood pen company, to serve clients in the United States and around the world. Dave also serves as technical director and production coordinator for Inspiration Travel, a Christian cruise and tour company in Fresno, CA, Audio Engineer and Technical Director for Array Technologies, a continuing medical education company in Denver, CO, and many other businesses and agencies.

 Dave is married to his wife Kirsten of 41 years. They have 3 married adult children and 14 grandchildren. When he’s not recording or facilitating an event, Dave spends time with his wife and family. He loves crafting items in his woodshop, traveling, walking with his wife, and snuggling grandbabies.
