Music Programs
Our heart is to train musically adept and theologically grounded worship leaders. We invite you to make God’s name glorious with us!

Our Music Programs will train you in flexible musicianship. Beyond private music lessons, we have courses for musical worship leaders, conductors, composers, music technicians, teachers, songwriters, music theorists, and more.

Programs include a BA in Worship and Media Arts, a BA in Music Ministry, or a Certificate in Worship Leading.

In addition to classroom instruction and applied music lessons, students also work with our faculty in ensembles. Whether your interests lie in classical or contemporary music, we have an ensemble for you.

Our partnership with the chapel program in Student Development allows opportunities for students to lead musical worship.
Communications Program

Our Communications Program is built on an integrated media model. Our flexible curriculum allows students to train broadly across mediums or hone their skill in any one of the following areas: Speech and Performance, Writing and Journalism, Video Production, Audio Production, Organizational Communication and Leadership, or Visual Design and Photography."

Our Practicum Classes promote the goal of our program. Each Practicum Class produces a signature, professional-quality media project while furthering their ability to work well with others, solve problems, and manage a complex project.

In January 2023, we opened our NEW media lab in the Chapman Center of our Chicago campus. This state-of-the-art space includes our student radio station (XN Radio), spaces for team meetings, performances and events, and multiple studios equipped with technology for video and audio recording and editing, photography, and design.
