We come together around what we hold in common. In that, we begin to commune with one another around our common center. From that communion, a community and its identity are formed.
Our Common Center? Jesus Christ.
We believe every word recorded about him and everything said. We want to point to that truth and experience that meaning through the public witness of our community.

We exist to promote the work of our creative community to publish student pieces on a variety of platforms
Social Media
Our Instagram provides a place to view recent submitted pieces, where students can interact and celebrate each other's creative work. We also feature artist spotlights, behind the scenes content, and team updates.
Website
The website Common.Center exists as a gallery to view all past pieces. Here, you can also submit your own creative work for publication.
Prints
Each month, the team compiles recent pieces and produces them in print. These booklets are available in Chapman 1, and are free for students to view what their peers are making.
Come and See
Each semester, Common Center hosts a Come and See event in Chapman 1. This event is a collaboration with other practicum teams to showcase the creative work that has been done throughout the semester, as well as showcase published student work.
Common Books
We have launched the production of our first Common Book. These are a series of books that will be produced over the course of many semesters that tie us back to our center, Jesus Christ. Our first publication will be released in Spring 2025.
